The Need Of The Hour

Jammu: On his visit to California, USA, Director Information Department Jammu and Kashmir, Khawaja Farooq Ahmad Renzu was honoured in a distinguished function held at Los Angels.

The world famous scholars, writers and authors invited Renzu and highlighted his achievements made in literary world. Rehman Soz, Sahib Alam, Farida Khan Sister of Film Star Yousuf Khan, Masood, Sarfraz, Iftikhar Alam, Afzal Sarbuland and hundreds of literary luminaries from Sub-continent were present on the occasion.

Renzu, who is author of 11 books including novels, while speaking on the occasion said that it is the need of the hour to pool the intellectual sources of all writers, authors, poets and other luminaries of Sub-continent, who can play a vital role in imbibing spirit of humanity and brotherhood.

He said that all writers of the world have role to create an atmosphere of love and tie people through bonds of humanity. He expressed his thanks to the world scholars for acknowledging his contribution in literary world. He advised them to read Sheikh-ul-Alam’s Shruks which are full of human love and respect for all faiths.

The scholars were happy to note that in western countries Maulana Rumi’s literature books have become very famous and agreed with Mr. Renzu that time has come to spread the message of Sheikh-ul-Alam Nud Reshi and other great Sufi Saints of Kashmir throughout the world so that people understand the concept of love and mutual brotherhood.

At California University another function was organized at the famous club hall of the University by Prof. Sir Desai, world famous professor of history.

Mr. Renzu spoke on the contribution of great Sufi Saints Bulbul Shah and Skeik-ul-Alam on the occasion. Prof. Sir Desai, while interacting with Renzu, said that history is witness to the fact that Kashmir has produced distinguished scholars and highly respectable Sufi Saints whose names are enshrined in historical books and new generation of the world is required to be enlightened with their illustrious philosophy and their concept of global brotherhood.
