Bangalore: The former MLC A. K. Subbaiah has alleged that the Bajrang Dal had been making attempts to destroy the original Sufi culture at Bababudangiri by introducing new rites and rituals such as Datta Mala, Nagara Sankeertana Yatra and Shoba Yatra in the name of religiosity.
He told presspersons here on Saturday that the Bajrang Dal was all set to remove the cultural roots of Bababudangiri. The Government was trying fool the people by pretending to promote harmony.
