The Corporate Sufi Way

Azim Jamal, a leading inspirational speaker, management consultant and executive coach has said that a corporate Sufi is a person who marries his work with his life mission and balances his work, family, social and spiritual life.

Pakistan Society for Training and Development (PSTD) and Terrabiz recently organised a talk by Azim Jamal from Canada on ‘Unleash Your Potential, The Corporate Sufi Way’ at the PSTD centre in Karachi.

Jamal further said that a corporate Sufi is a person who is ambitious and wants to do well in the worldly sense of climbing the corporate ladder, raising a family and being materially successful without compromising his ethics and principles.

According to him, a Sufi is interested in the essence, not the form, and looks at what is inside not outside.

“A human being has an outward appearance, how we look, the clothes we wear, the car we drive, the house we live in, and the money we have, but to the Sufi they matter little. It is what is inside the person, his character and spirit that interests the Sufi,” Jamal stated.
