Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh: Setting aside all differences of faith, caste, colour and creed, thousands of devotees converged at the Dargah (mausoleum) of Hazrat Abdul Aziz Miyyan, a Sufi saint at Moradabad for the annual Urs (anniversary celebrations) that was celebrated on Thursday.
“There are no two opinions about it that there is no distinction made on the basis of faith, caste, or class in this place. Whoever prays with a truth and a pure heart, there is no question that that person’s wishes will not be fulfilled,” said Javed Liaquat, a devotee.
The devotees believe that the saint always fulfills all their wishes.
Most of the devotees are regular visitors and they contend that the teachings of the saint have helped them understand the path of love and the essence of life.
“What I have learnt here is that what actually a human being is. I have understood the message of love and the first and foremost hing for anyone is to be human. That is why I like coming here, and whenever I am summoned by divine intuitions, I come here,” said Arun, another devotee.
