Lahore: Punjab Minister for Population Welfare Neelam Jabbar Ch has said that Ulema have deep respect throughout the world and they should highlight idea of love, affection and accommodation of Islam for establishment of peace.
She further said that Islam teaches us religious harmony and equality, therefore, we should make hectic efforts for the promotion of mutual love and brotherhood in the society.
While talking to a delegation of local Ulema, Neelam Jabbar Ch said that Sufi saints spread Islam in the subcontinent through their teachings of tolerance and love and gave a message of equality and brotherhood besides promotion of religious tolerance and social forbearance.
She said that besides achieving latest knowledge and advance technology we should also promote the message of justice, affection and brotherhood of sufi saints.
She also strongly condemned blast at Islamabad. She prayed for all the deceased as well as early recovery of injured ones. The Minister also appealed the people remain vigilant to avoid acts of terrorism.
