On Monday evening, Sufi singer Zila Khan brought together some musical moments to pay a tribute to her father, sitar maestro Ustad Vilayat Khan in the Capital.
“I feel honoured to be the daughter of a legendary person like my father and it’s a privilege to organize this evening,” said Zila Khan.
The rendition by Ustad Shahid Pervez on the sitar was followed by a documentary on Ustad Vilayat Khan's life and contribution to music.
With an impromptu vocal recital by Zila Khan, it was an evening to remember.
