Exquisite Manuscripts

Iran's Documents and National Library Organization is to exhibit pictures of exquisite manuscripts in ten countries around the world.

Pictures of some 40 Persian manuscripts will be displayed in Austria, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Australia, China, Lebanon, Belarus, the Vatican, Oman and the Czech Republic.

The manuscripts will include parts of poems composed by renowned Persian poets Hafez, Sa'adi and Mowlavi. Pictures of miniature paintings by the 15th century Iranian painter Kamal al-Din Behzad and paintings by contemporary artist Mohammad Ehsaei will also be featured in the exhibitions.

The exhibitions will be mounted in commemoration of the 30th anniversary of the 1979 Islamic Revolution in Iran.

The displayed items will be gifted to the national museum of the countries where the exhibitions are to be held.
