Sufism and Freemasonry: in the new book of Morris Ghezzi the encounter between two important Traditional streams.

On Saturday, July 4th at 7:30 pm, in the Park of Villa il Vascello in Rome will be presented the book of poems by Morris L. Ghezzi *Le lacrime di Hiram. Autobiografia incompleta di un Libero Muratore* (The tears of Hiram. Incomplete Autobiography of a Free Mason), published in 2008 by the Jerrahi Halveti Sufi Brotherhood.

The twelve illustrations on the theme of the compass are the work of Gabriele Mandel, Vicar of the Italian branch of the Jerrahi-Halveti Sufi Brotherhood.


The Honorary Grand Master Morris L. Ghezzi (University of Milan), Gabriele Mandel (General Vicar for Italy of the Jerrahi-Halveti Sufi Brotherhood), Fakhraddin Gafarov (Concert artist who will perform Sufi music's pieces), Daniele Guizzo (Professor of Islamic Studies at the University of Bologna and of Iranian Linguistics and History of the Persian Language at the University of Venice Ca' Foscari), Bernardino Fioravanti (Chairman of the Library Service) and the Grand Master Gustavo Raffi will take part in the encounter.
