Sukkur: Jashn-e-Latif was celebrated at Sukkur Public School on Sunday. Federal Minister for Labour, Manpower and Overseas Pakistanis, Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah was the chief guest of the program.
Addressing on the occasion, Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah said that today world is facing many problems due to terrorism and to ensure peace in the world Sufism should be promoted.
He added that Sindh is the land of saints who have always spread the message of love, peace and brotherhood.
The Minister paid rich tributes to the great poet and saint of Sindh Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai (RA) for his universal message of peace.
He further said that the government is committed to facilitate the masses and in this regard several programs have been started. Thousands of youths have been recruited in different government’s departments and many more unemployed youths will also be appointed very soon only on merit basis.
On the occasion, Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah distributed prizes and certificates amongst the students who presented speeches and tableaus in the program.
