Mirwaiz Riyaz Hamdani highlights contribution of great sufi saint; thousands throng shrine at Nawakadal
Srinagar: A special Urs of Hazrat Bulbul Shah (RA) was observed, here at Nawakadal with religious fervor and traditional devotion.
A large number of devotees from different parts of the valley participated in the Urs celebration and offered Friday prayers at the shrine.
Mirwaiz Riyaz Ahmad Hamdani delivered a sermon on the occasion, praising the contribution of the great saint in imbibing piety and virtuous character among the Kashmiris.
He said the sufi saint has enlightened the people of the valley and showed path of righteousness by preaching great humanistic ideals.
