Iranian Artists Illustrate Rumi’s Poetry

A book containing Rumi’s “Divan of Shams” illustrated by Iranian artists is to be published by the Academy of Art in October.

Compiled by Mehdi Hosseini, the book contains 50 illustrations by contemporary artists and will be published to commemorate the 800th birth anniversary of Rumi.

The text will be written by the calligrapher Sedaqat Jabbari and it will also contain English and French translations.
