The birth anniversary of Sufi saint Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti was celebrated here in Ajmer with colourful decoration and cultural programmes.
Special decoration was arranged at the Dargh to mark the festival yesterday, Secretary, Njuman-e -Seerat, Syed Saris Hussain Chishty said.
On the occasion a qawalli programme in honour of Garib Nawaz was also organised.
Syed said the three day Urs of Syed Meera Sahab will start at Taragarh from Aug 12.
President of dargah committee, Taragarh Sarwar Siddiqi said that about "Sawama"(50 kg) and mehendi would be offered at the tomb of Syed Meera Sahab.
