Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari on Wednesday directed the concerned authorities to carry out a detailed survey on the preservation of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar’s tomb and prepare a plan for its renovation.
During a presentation given to him on renovation and preservation of mazar of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar, the President said cultural assets must be preserved so that people all across the world can learn, observe and feel Sufism.
The presentation given by Managing Director NESPAK Asad I. A. Khan was also attended among others by Salman Faruqui, Secretary General to the President, Malik Asif Hayat, Secretary to the President, Chief Secretary Fazal ur Rehman and other officials.
